The Hotel Esplanade Tergesteo is equipped with two swimming-pools filled with thermal water.
Diving in these waters immediately provides a warm and pleasant sensation.
Guests can enjoy one indoor and one outdoor swimming-pool linked to each another; the outdoor pool area is equipped with hydromassages beds, waterfall hydromassage for the neck and shoulder area, fountain hydromassage for the back and hydromassage crossed-jet seats.
Indoor thermal pool
The indoor pool of the Hotel Esplanade tergesteo in Montegrotto Terme is linked to the outdoor pool; this allows the guests to enjoy a warm and cozy ambience inside with a relaxing view outside.
Outdoor thermal pool
The Hotel Esplanade Tergesteo disposes of a wide outdoor thermal pool where it is possible to relax while enjoying the warm embrace of the waters and the charming view of the Euganean Hills.
During Summer time it is the perfect location to relax and sunbathe on the edge of the pool, while in autumn and winter the thermal waters allows the guests to swim and relax outside, in the warm waters constantly kept to 35°C. Our outdoor pool offers different hydro massages:
- hydro massages beds;
- waterfall hydro massage for the neck and shoulder area;
- fountain hydro massage for the back
- hydro massage crossed-jet seats
Our thermal waters
The waters of the Abano and Montegrotto basin fall into the category of deep underground waters, unique because of the long distances they travel. The waters derive from the uncontaminated basins of the Lessini Mountains in the foothills of the Pre-Alps, passing through calcareous rock and into the subsoil at a depth of approximately 2000-3000 meters. Water is held at high temperatures and under strong pressures over the approximately 80 kilometer route for an average period of about 25/30years. During this time, water takes on mineral salts until finally reaching the Euganean area, where it springs forth at a temperature of 87°C, therefore, in our pools it is cooled at about 34°-35°C.
